Have you seen "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" yet? If not, I thoroughly recommend it... it's fab!

The sweets that they have brought out to coincide with the film are going really quickly and are starting to be hard to get (even for us!!!). It seems that Nestle underestimated demand... so we are trying to get in as much stock as we can. Just to remind you.. the sweets are: Nutty Crunch Surprise, Fruity Wobble Drops, Triple Dazzle Caramel and, most popular by some way (I reckon it's at least partly because of the fab name), Whipple Scrumptious Fudgemallow Delight.

Sweet of the week - Our new Sweet of the Week is Fruit Salad. They are another sweet that just epitomize why we started up A Quarter Of... just the wrapper brings back memories... and as for the smell...and the taste...

Extra news: The Luxury Fudges and Turkish Delights that we have been adding recently have proved so popular that we are hunting down more for you. The new addition to the range this week is delicious cool Mint Turkish Delight. I never realised that you could get Turkish Delight in such a range of flavours (for ages I thought it was rose flavour or nothing!)... but this really works... juicy and chewy and so very refreshing.

Our sherbet pips and cola pips are so popular (and nostalgic) that when we found a new supplier of Fruit Pips we just had to add them straight away. They are tiny littled boiled sweets with so much taste packed into such a little space.

On the "small sweet" theme you'll love these. You know in Austin Powers the baddie Doctor Evil had a little replica (Mini Me), well Rifle Shot is the equivalent for Gobstoppers! They are tiny weany!

Next, we have been bowled over by the popularity of our sugar free sweets. But, and I think I can tell you this because we are friends after all(!), something was bugging us... we didn't have a really good acid drop in the range. So we went off a'huntin and found (and added to the shop) these Sugar Free Extra Strong Acid Drops. Problem solved! (feel so much better for getting that off our chests!!)

And finally...people love pencils! And people love fizzy sweets! So when we found Fizzy Apple Pencils and Fizzy Strawberry Pencils we just had to add them straight away... and we did!

Our new Sweet of the Week is Wham Bars. Or should that be "are Wham Bars"?. . And did you realise that it is (or "they are"!) suitable for Vegetarians? Me neither! And as Sweet of the Week it is at an extra special price for a very limited time which makes it even better

OK, I'll hold my hands up I've had a wham bar this week.
